It was a horrifying Saturday,the 8th October,2005 when a very powerful quake measuring 7.6 jolted the Northern Pakistan at about 8.52 a.m. (PST) The magnitude of this quake was so massive that from N.W.F.P to Azad Kashmir many towns and villages were totally collapsed. THis calamity left in its wake, thousands of men, women and children dead and hundreds of thousands injured. The people were buried alive under the roofs of their houses and the children in their school.
